Japanese Dining Etiquette Classes (Minami Azabu) – February 20, 2018

Best Living Japan is excited to offer highly requested Japanese Dining Etiquette Classes taught by Ms. Haruko Saruwatari two times in early 2018. Attend this seminar lunch if you want to gain confidence in your manners and be more relaxed the next time you visit a Japanese formal restaurant or friends home. We will enjoy a delicious multi-course Japanese lunch in the Best Living Japan Cafe in Minami Azabu (opening mid-January). The class is Tuesday, February 20th. The class fee which includes instruction and lunch is 9,000 JPY + consumption tax (8%) + PayPal fee and is from 10:30 – 12:30. All areas of dining etiquette will be covered. Just a sample:

  • How to enter a Japanese tatami room and sitting manners
  • Dining greetings
  • Chopstick holding and usage
  • Placement and holding of dishes
  • Condiment usage
  • How to eat large uncut items, noodles, and other more difficult items eloquently

Japanese Dining Etiquette Classes 

Session 1: Monday, January 29th; 10:30 – 12:30 (Cancelled)

Session 2: Tuesday, February 20th; 10:30 – 12:30

The Best Living Japanese Dining Etiquette Classes will be offered on two days between January and March 2018 

1. Sign-up for 1 class on the sign-up sheet. The class fee is 9,000 JPY + consumption tax (8%) + PayPal fee.

2. Max number of attendees will be 12. 

3. A great opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy a relaxing with lunch at the end of each class.

Best Living Japan Course Payment and Cancellation Policy

Cooking class registrations must be received with full payment at the time of registration.  We are sorry, but we cannot accept registrations without full payment.  

No refunds are offered on Best Living Japan courses once the course has begun. Students may cancel two weeks before the start of the course and receive a full refund minus payment/transfer funds. If a student can not attend a class, then they may send a replacement (friend or family) in place of themselves.

Refund Exception: If Best Living Japan has to reschedule or cancel a class, we will contact you directly by phone or email to offer a full refund.  Under all circumstances, we will do our best to transfer you to another day or similar class.
