JAPANESE DINING ETIQUETTE CLASSES

Attend this Japanese Dining Etiquette seminar lunch if you want to gain confidence in your manners and be more relaxed the next time you visit a Japanese formal restaurant or friend’s home. We will enjoy a delicious multi-course Japanese lunch in the Best Living Japan Studio in Minami Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo. When you register please highlight any allergies so that we can develop the best possible menu for all attendees. The Japanese dinging etiquette classes are 7,500 JPY and includes lunch (buy a book of vouchers for a discount). Best Living Japan offers cooking, lifestyle and crafting classes everyday. Japanese Dining Etiquette Classes

All areas of dining etiquette will be covered. Including, but not limited to:

  • Dining greetings
  • Chopstick holding and usage
  • Placement and holding of dishes
  • Condiment usage
  • How to eat large uncut items, noodles, and other more difficult items eloquently
  • What to do if you REALLY do not want to eat what you see on your plate

About the Teacher

Discover Kyoto, Haruko Saruwatani, Japanese Dining Etiquette Classes, Best Living Japan Classes StudioMs. Haruko Saruwatari, Licensed Japanese Tour Guide will lead the Seminar in English. – Haruko is originally from Fukuoka and a mother of two kids. Her curiosity towards different cultures and Japanese tradition led her to become a licensed guide. She provides guided tours to English speaking travelers and provides support to foreign businesses entering Japan market.
