Spring 2019 Tokyo International School Festivals

Over the next three months, there are some great Spring 2019 Tokyo International school festivals to attend. You do not need to have a child at these schools to attend and enjoy global cooking, music and many flea markets and raffles. Attending the Spring 2019 Tokyo International school festivals is also a great way to get to know a school and its community if you are thinking about applying for your child. All of the schools below use the fair proceeds for 3rd party charities as well as for their school projects.  Below is the schedule that will be added to as new information is received. Spring 2019 Tokyo International School Festivals 

1. International School of the Sacred Heart (Hiroo) – Saturday, March 16th, 2019 from 10:00 – 16:00 (rain or shine!). This is the first Spring festival of the season. A great festival which is open to the public. This festival has it all; games, raffles, used book sale, music, food, drinks, tots playground, as well as a shopping bazaar selling a great array of items. FREE entry. Tickets for food, drink and games will be available on the day. Come say hello at the Best Living – domodomo Japan booth.

*** Spring 2019 Tokyo International School Festivals ***

2. The British School of Tokyo (Shibuya) will hold their annual Spring festival on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 from 11:00am – 3:00pm. The Spring Fair attracts over 1,500 people through the doors on the day and is a whole school event that brings together the BST community. They will have international food stalls, live music and entertainment, games, raffle and more. All proceeds from the Spring Fair raffle go to the BST PTA, where the funds are provided directly to the school to purchase equipment and for small capital projects.

3. Tokyo International School (Minami Azabu, Minato) – will be hosting their 2019 Cherry Blossom Fair on Saturday, April 20th from 11:00-16:00. This is an exciting opportunity to celebrate the Sakura season while experiencing cultures from around the world. There will be international cuisine, music, games, and entertainment, as well as a raffle. All are welcome, and admission is free. So please come and enjoy the festivities!

4. Aoba Japan International School, Nerima-ku, Tokyo (April 20th) – Will hold their annual Spring Festival on Saturday, April 20th, 2019 from 9:30 – 15:00 (rain or shine!) – Enjoy a variety of games and performances, sample food and drink from around the world, shop at their bazaar and enter a raffle to win fabulous prizes!

5. St Mary`s International School (Seta, Setagaya) – St. Mary’s International School will hold its annual Spring Carnival on Saturday, May 11th from 9:00 – 16:30 (Rain or Shine!). There will be games, entertainment, food, raffle and much more! Enter a raffle to win great prizes!
