After visiting this museum, you will never ride a Tokyo subway again and not think about the technology and history behind the ride. The Tokyo Subway Museum is organized into ten different areas starting with history then covering construction, Tokyo Subway Museummaintenance, engineering, traffic control and more. The biggest thrills of our visit were the historical train cars, Tokyo Subway Museumoperating the buttons and levels in a train car and the video simulation of driving a train on the Ginza line. Fun museum to visit for 1-2 hours. Our other favorite transport museums are Tokyu Train and Bus Museum in Kawasaki, the Railway Museum in Omiya, the SC Maglev and Railway Park in Nagoya, and the newest Kyoto Railway Museum.  Here are some other great science and tech museums in Japan.
